Present Moment Yoga is for people who want to:
Present Moment Yoga classes are gentle and perfect for all ages and abilities. There's no Sanskrit, no chanting, no gurus or swamis. Just stretching, balancing, breathing and smiling. |
Safety is an overarching concern:
By moving slowly with the breath, you will get to know your body better and be able to feel when something's not quite right. If you have an injury or physical limitation, you may need to avoid certain poses or movements. We'll find other ones that work better for you. |
About me:
My name is Sharon Struthers and I am a registered yoga teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. I did my teacher training in 2010 at Nosara Yoga Institute in Nosara, Costa Rica, under the guidance of Don and Amba Stapleton and Indira Kate Kalmbach. I have been practicing yoga seriously since 2005. Yoga brings me peace and joy every single day. I meditate every day as well, and incorporate meditation into my yoga classes. I specialize in private and small group classes, which are customized according to your needs and desires. |
